We've all seen the Everest style basecamps in Alaska, where the pro riders pick perfect lines from the comfort of their wilderness dome tent. Well now its time for you to taste a little of that life. We've partnered with Shar Outdoors to create a unique wilderness adventure package.
We've all seen the Everest style basecamps in Alaska, where the pro riders pick perfect lines from the comfort of their wilderness dome tent. Well now its time for you to taste a little of that life. We've partnered with Shar Outdoors to create a unique wilderness adventure package.
We'll be based out of Scardus, a 4* hotel in the heart of a secluded resort (Popova Sapka) in northern Macedonia. You'll have access to the modern day essentials like Wi-fi, spa with swimming pool, and ample locally sourced food.
From our base camp we can walk over the road and jump in a snowcat for local assisted pow shredding days, or jump to more remote local resorts for bigger and more adventurous splitboard missions.
As we settle into the week we'll start planning our overnight mission. Shar Outdoors will transport us and our kit to the heart of the Macedonian National Park. From this staging area we'll carry out some shred strike missions, before relaxing to catch the sunset and then settling in for a night in the wild.
Once our overnight adventure is complete we'll head back for a recharge at base camp and then resume our cat and splitboard combo adventures.
This is a perfect course for those riders looking to nudge out of their traditional alps comfort zones and experience a taste of pro life in a unique and exciting location.
This course includes:
6 Nights 4* full board accommodation
1 Night wilderness dome tent accommodation
- Sleeping equipment provided
2 Mountain guides, with guide ratio of 1-4 riders
5 Days snowcat assisted, or resort transfers for Splitboarding
Airport transfer from Skopje International Airport
