Parental
Information
Child safety is paramount to Maverix. All our staff have extensive
youth teaching experience. They are accreditied within their chosen
snowsports governing body, and have passed a basic or enhanced criminal
disclosure process.
UK Course Profile
We cater for all abilities and ages on our UK courses. Generally
our groms are aged between 9 and 14 years, but we have coached children
as low as 6 years. The main pre-requisite for a child joining a
course, is that they will be keen to mix with like minded riders
and be able to complete a full day's riding in a freestyle environment.
All parents will be asked to complete a legal and video disclaimer
prior to their child attending a course.
European Course Profile
We ask that children under the age of 16 be accompanied by an adult,
to enable supervision beyond on mountain activities. Groms aiming
to join a session should have a good basic riding level to enable
them to get the most out of a full week's worth of riding. All parents
will be asked to complete a legal and video disclaimer prior to
their child attending a course. Our European courses are not recommended
for under 12's.
The Team are affiliated with the following snowsports governing
bodies.
