Free transport (Line C) to the ski lift stops right outisde lodge and will take you to direct to the ski area. The Gasthof has everything you'll need. Private bar, dedicated tuning room and drying room, free wifi, massive dining area for those looking to take up the half board option and a super social vibe to make the evenings a hit. We recommend a morning flight from the UK to allow for the easiest transfer to the resort, and an evening return flight back to the UK to allow ample time to get to the airport from the resort.
Travel by Car
We recommend Euro Tunnel. The drive is approx 11 hours from Calais. You can save approx 2.5 hours on your journey by travelling via the Euro Tunnel compared to ferries. With the European time difference when travelling to Europe we recommend a one night stop over in Germany to ease the amount of time spent driving. Etap hotels are very resonably prices for your stop over. When travelling to Austria snowchains are compulsary between Nov 1st and 15th April in snow, mud or ice. For more information on driving in Austria, visit this link. You may also be required to buy a “vignet” (it’s the roadtax). You can buy a vignet at the gas stations near the boarder. This has not been required for previous journeys, but you never know. It covers driving on the major motorways and costs around 8 euros for a 10 day pass.
