What's it all about?
Trust and rapport! We keep the coaching ratio low and the amount of personal attention high, as we bring in our new levels system to our summer camp. You'll be in a group of a maximum of 8 riders at a similar level allowing you to progress at a faster pace and really feed off others progression.
It's not a numbers game for Maverix. It's about working with you on a personal level to genuinely transform your riding as we work as a team to help you realise your goals.
The head coach, owner of Maverix and the current
National Royal Air Force freestyle coach - James Streater is a veteran on Les Deux Alpes, having completed back to back 5 summer seasons in the resort, with 4 of those running highly successful snowboard camps.
We know the resort inside out and have some awesome connections to make your holiday a smooth and effortless one! Not only do we know the glacier inside out, but we can also help with ideas on what to do in the afternoons and evenings in your free time, as well and provide access to additional training and development opportunities with our resort partners, meaning the progression never stops.
What we aim to teach you
Starting with piste performance and moving through flatland tricks and spins as we head towards a solid focus on freestyle for the week as Les Deux Alpes is well known for having one of the best summer parks in Europe. Expect to be having a great time in the sun learning loads with one of the most qualified coaches in the UK. With our new level system you can select a week best suited to your needs, boosting your overall value from your course and leaving the week feeling like you have truly progressed.

Who's up for it?
We're looking for riders up for meeting a small group of like minded people who love snowboarding and want to progress their performance and have as much fun off the slopes as on it.
We have made some substantial changes to our European camps as we move towards improving the coach to customer ratio and splitting the weeks by experience and ability. With the summer glacier being very well contained and our camps being run outside of peak season you can expect to achieve a lot in great conditions.
You can check what course is suitable for you by reviewing our course prerequisites. Each week will be limited to a group size of 8. For those looking to attend a session that is sold out you can request to be placed on a reservation list. We also provide additonal pre-camp training within our standard UK courses that can boost your skills enabling you to attend a higher level group.
Green and blue week - For those riders confident on green pistes who are looking to improve their riding, and make their first steps or perfect basic freestyle moves in one of the best snow parks in Europe.
Blue and red week - For those riders confident on blue pistes who want to improve their piste performance, perfect their current freestyle moves and potentially increase the size and technicality of their tricks.
